the optimizing equine performance & recovery program

an equinessence educational program

Equinessence is now offering exclusive online courses and in-person seminars for Optimizing Equine Performance & Recovery. This program is open to all equine professionals and equestrians! It was developed by Molly Wells, who is the sole instructor for this educational opportunity to help improve and progress the equine performance industry. She combines her credentials and experience in the professional sports industry, with her qualifications and knowledge in the equine world in order to help make a positive impact for our equine athletes.

Participants in this program are NOT required to own or purchase equipment. This is a separate program from the ATS Acuscope Courses. The only expectation is to join us to expand your knowledge and experience in the progression of the equine athletic world. This program is open to all equine professionals, body workers, massage therapists, owners, trainers, riders, farriers, and anyone who wants to learn!

This program was developed to offer people throughout the equine industry important information that will allow them to expand their knowledge, and therefore make an expanded impact in the lives of the horses that they encounter and work with. The information in this course is backed by scientific research and studies that allow further insight to what occurs in the equine industry, with discussions on how to prevent and care for injuries and chronic conditions that arise in this industry.

This expanding program currently has two levels:

Level 1 Online Series: This is an online course consisting of 14 sessions held over a 14 week period (one 2.5 hour evening session per week for 14 weeks, typically held on Tuesday evenings). Level 1 is a pre-requisite for Level 2.

Level 2 In-person Seminar: After students have successfully completed Level 1, they will become eligible to register for a Level 2 Seminar. This is a 4 day in-person seminar to bring everything together and add more depth from what was learned online in the Level 1 Course.

Level 3 In-person Seminar: Launching in 2023

All courses provide training materials, have a written exam, and students will receive a Certificate of Completion once the required hours and written exam have been completed. Each Level will be offered twice per year.

To register for the next Optimizing Equine Performance and Recovery Course, please email us by following the "Register Begins Here" link.

PLEASE NOTE: This program is separate from the ATS Acuscope Courses that are offered. This is a great opportunity for ATS Certified Acuscope Therapists to continue their education, and it is also a great way for aspiring therapists to begin their educational journey in preparation of becoming an equine therapist. This program is open to ALL equestrians and equine professionals.
